- Launched the app “50 Things to do Before You’re 5” in Jersey with 1364 downloads so far.
- Funded and delivered REAL training in Jersey. Making it REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy) is an Early Years programme that works with practitioners to support children’s early literacy and development.
- Funded 30 CACHE Level 3 course places to develop the early years workforce.
- Development of ‘Engaging and Listening to Babies and Young Children’ toolkit to support adults working with children 0-5 by promoting an understanding of the importance of listening to babies and young children to ensure their voices are heard, their rights are recognised, and they have genuine opportunities to express their views and are involved in making decisions made about them.
- Joined up with Jersey Sport to provide afternoon Move More Toddler Play Sessions.
- Created a Communication and Language roadmap so that parents and practitioners can see the path that babies, and young children take when becoming confident communicators.
- Developing and delivered a ‘3 Year Review’ pilot, to establish whether it is feasible to have a developmental check for children at age 3, alongside parents and Nursery practitioners. 50 families took part in the first year and 300 are scheduled to take part in the second year (2023).
