About The Role

Childminders offer professional home-away-from-home childcare, this is a popular role for many parents who are looking for paid work in the comfort of their own home and the flexibility to work around their own family.

Childminders look after small groups of children of different ages and work closely with parents and carers to provide bespoke care. Some childminders may offer wraparound childcare looking after children of all ages before and after school. It can also mean looking after them during the school holidays. Childminders are self-employed and run their own business providing an opportunity to be your own boss.
