About The Role

Playworkers may support children before and after school or in the school holidays. For example, in breakfast clubs, after-school clubs and holiday clubs there are so many options to work around you.

This means there are roles available during term time, in the morning, until late afternoon and throughout the day in the school holidays; so whether you are available for a few mornings per week or looking for longer days to work around your school run there could be something that suits you.

Playworkers work in a variety of places, such as in school buildings or community facilities for a range of organisations, such as schools, charities, or private businesses.

If you enjoy interacting with children, helping them to explore their own interests and are keen to find out if a Playworker role could work for you please email workinearlyyears@gov.je to find out more.
