Dear Parents/carers,
We are writing to let you know that applications are now open for September 2025 Reception class entry into a Government of Jersey primary school.
Children who are born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 start school at the beginning of the autumn term in 2025.
The application form, available here, must be returned to your catchment school by Friday 22 November 2024.

Primary schools will write to you at the end of January 2025 to offer places. At this point, you should inform the school if you no longer need an offered place.
You will not be offered a place in a Government of Jersey non-fee-charging primary school if you have been accepted for a place in a fee-paying school. This is so that parents/carers who need a Government of Jersey non-fee-charging school place have the best chance of getting a place at their chosen school.
