Fiona Vacher is the Executive Director of Jersey Child Care Trust, a local charity delivering a variety of programmes so that all children have their best start.
The charity’s vision is for every child in Jersey to access the nurture, care and learning they need to thrive. In realising its vision, the JCCT team work with many others to enable access, tackle poverty and improve quality for and with children.
The JCCT team, with their varied, wide-ranging skills and knowledge in the field of early years education and care, deliver services directly to children, provide childcare information to families, deliver training and development to the sector’s workforce and join many other Best Start Partners to contribute towards relevant consultations, policy and legislation design.
Fiona also leads the Best Start Plus work stream of the Best Start Programme. Through this programme, the JCCT and Best Start partners are working together to create real and positive change with children and families.
